How A Body Cleanse Can Be Rejuvenating

There are many ways toxins can contaminate the body. Pollution and chemicals that come from water, food and the air all contribute to damaging toxins in the body. These toxins can build up and cause a lot of health problems. Once the toxins build up enough to cause cell damage they can lead to illnesses like kidney disease, diabetes, hepatitis, high blood pressure, and respiratory illness. These are all reasons for a body cleanse, which can prevent these toxins to build up.

Expelling bad toxins in the body is an ongoing process. When you cough, sneeze, or even sweat, you are dispelling these toxins. If the amount of toxins is too high the body will then put them into fat tissue.

One way to aid your body in its cleansing process is by getting rid of as many toxins as possible that could enter the body. The body also needs a lot of rest in order to perform its cleansing process well. While you may feel the effects of the cleanse within days, your body may actually take months or years to fully cleanse and make improvements that will last for a long period of time. Before deciding to start a cleanse diet, you should consult a doctor especially if you are taking medication. Eating healthy and avoiding pollutants is good for anyone, but if you are special medication you may have to alter your diet.

Outside toxins like moisturizers, cosmetics, and chap sticks should be limited during a full body cleanse. Even deodorants and shampoo contain toxins and should be used in moderation. It is recommended to get both physical and emotional rest. High levels of stress that may come from work and even watching upsetting news stories and emails can contribute to high amounts of toxins in the body.

As you exhale, your body releases carbon dioxide. For this reason, you should open windows when you are in small rooms, even when you are sleeping. Sunlight is also important for the body, but not too much.

Water is one of the most important things for the body to intake. Water can be ingested through food and liquids. Vegetables and fruit contain a lot of water and they are also easy to digest, and thus are good to eat during a cleanse.

When going through a cleansing, you should avoid foods that are harder to digest. Most people find it easier to wean themselves off of those foods before they start cleansing. It also helps to use blenders in order to help the digestion process along. After the first couple of days into the diet, you can also try to just drink juices for an entire day. Juices should be made with as many dark green vegetables as possible.

Fruits and vegetables should be eaten raw. Avocados are recommended because they contain a lot of healthy fatty acids that will keep you satisfied until the next meal. Salads with a lot of different vegetables are good to eat. For a dressing, it is recommended that you use extra virgin olive oil.

A body cleanse detox type of diet can go on as long as you feel it necessary. You can carry on for a weekend, a week, or even longer as long as you still feel healthy and strong. When you decide to finish your body cleanse, you should slowly reintroduce other foods back into your diet.
